Yuval Rafael and Matisyahu have teamed up for a powerful new song titled Carry On, released today to mark three years since the October 7 massacre. The lyrics were written by Rachel Spoznik, while the production and arrangement were handled by Rico Love, a renowned American producer who has previously worked with megastars like Beyoncé, Usher, and Chris Brown.

The collaboration between Matisyahu and Rafael around such a poignant and painful theme feels deeply natural. Rafael is a survivor of the Nova festival massacre, and she previously gave voice to the nation's immense grief with her Eurovision entry, New Day Will Rise. Matisyahu, who has navigated a complex relationship with his Jewish identity as an American-Jewish singer for years, has stood out since the outbreak of the war as one of Israel's most vocal supporters in the face of overt hostility.

The song carries an enduring message of hope and resilience: Carry on when they say you don't belong, the two artists sing in the chorus. When they forget your name, stay strong. We are the beating heart of a nation still alive, we are climbing, they will not take this from us.
