Yoseph Haddad was violently attacked and responded: 'He didn't know he messed with a Golani soldier'
The Israeli advocacy activist shared footage from a conference in the United States, where he was physically attacked from behind by a participant in a debate. This is how he responded when the incident spilled over into the parking lot.
Yoseph Haddad, the Israeli advocacy activist, arrived at a conference in the United States, where he engaged in a debate with an individual he identified as a neo-Nazi who strongly objected to Haddad's presence and his views.
The event escalated quickly when Haddad was violently attacked by the same activist. Haddad defended himself, but the confrontation continued in the conference parking lot, where the individual attacked him again. Haddad remained composed, and after the assailant attacked him, Haddad knocked him to the ground and retaliated.
In a post shared on social media, Haddad attached video footage of the incident and wrote:
"I was attacked by a neo-Nazi in the USA, only he didn't know he messed with a Golani soldier! I arrived yesterday to participate in a filmed debate against a group of anti-Israelis where the speaker opposite me changed every time."
Haddad further explained:
"At a certain stage, a person who is a clear neo-Nazi came up against me. Already in the studio, he started cursing and turning the debate physical. After the filming in the parking lot, he managed to attack me from behind, but very quickly he learned a lesson—because one does not stay silent in the face of anti-Israeli attacks, and he messed with the wrong person!"
He added: "This is nothing new; when they are unable to win a verbal debate, they move to a physical confrontation. The problem is that they lose there too! By the way, notice at the end of the video the second individual who accuses me and the Israelis of attacking people. This is exactly the classic example of anti-Israelis—they attack Israel and then whine when Israel responds and wins!"
