Warm Tributes on "Chef Games": Yonatan Roshfeld Praises Co-Judge Guy Gamzo

After a much-discussed crisis surrounding the new judges' panel for "Chef Games" on Reshet 13, which was resolved only after intervention by channel owner Assaf Rapoport, the atmosphere among the new team members has turned remarkably warm and supportive. Chef Yonatan Roshfeld, who has returned to the show's judging panel, took to Instagram to express deep appreciation for the new judge joining him, Chef Guy Gamzo.

Roshfeld shared with his followers the personal transformation he has undergone in recent years, stepping away from the screen to focus on family life, and admitted that returning to television was far from easy. However, meeting Gamzo changed his perspective: "The friend whose picture appears here was a complete blank to me; we had never met," Roshfeld wrote. "I insisted on getting to know him first through his food, and I went to dine at his restaurants... Guy Gamzo is a human being above all. A man with a solid inner core built meticulously over years without compromise."

Roshfeld went on to praise their shared hours on the set: "During all those hours, I watch him and admire the fresh perspective he brings to this somewhat sloppy profession in recent years, where everyone claims to be a chef. Guy is the product of the very best in Israel's culinary scene... I truly love him, and soon all of you will get to witness this incredible talent."

The surprising dismissal of Moshik Roth after 12 years sparked internal tension and opposition from Chef Assaf Granit regarding Roshfeld's appointment. The crisis threatened the shooting schedule until Reshet 13 owner Assaf Rapoport stepped in, leading mediation talks and securing an agreement that allowed filming to finally commence.
