Three Years Since October 7: Yarden Bibas Shares Heartbreaking Memorial Post
Yarden Bibas shared a poignant message marking three years since October 7, apologizing to his murdered wife and children. Meanwhile, an avenue was inaugurated in Paris to honor their memory.

Three years since the October 7 terrorist attack, Yarden Bibas, whose wife and two young children were murdered in Hamas captivity, shared a heartbreaking message on social media.
During the October 7, 2023 attack, the Bibas family was abducted to the Gaza Strip: Yarden, his wife Shiri, and their children Ariel (4) and Kfir (9 months old, the youngest hostage). On February 1, 2025, after 484 days in captivity, Yarden Bibas was released and returned to Israel as part of a hostage deal. Weeks later, official confirmation arrived that Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir were brutally murdered in Hamas captivity. Their bodies were returned to Israel and laid to rest on February 26, 2025. Since his return, Yarden has been working to commemorate his loved ones while navigating immense personal tragedy. Marking three years since the massacre, he posted a poignant message reading: "Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir. I'm sorry! I'm sorry you are up there and I am here."
Meanwhile, a moving tribute took place in Paris, France, where an avenue was dedicated to the memory of Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas at Parc Monseau. The Paris City Hall stated that the memorial aims to preserve their memory in the public space and strengthen the fight against antisemitism, racism, and all forms of discrimination.
