Vicky from 'Married at First Sight' reveals her relationship for the first time: 'It was very close and intimate'

The storm of rumors surrounding the stars of 'Married at First Sight' reached its peak after it was suspected that a surprising romance had developed between two stars of the season, Aviatar Dangur and Vicky Halmi. The rumors about the relationship intensified following Vicky's words during the season, when she declared that Aviatar was her type of man, and even in the reunion episode after her separation from Omer Bar, who was matched with her on the show, she admitted she was in a relationship but did not reveal details about it, which increased the rumors.

In an interview for Miki Levin's podcast, Vicky Halmi admits for the first time that a close and intimate personal connection developed between her and the season's groom, Aviatar Dangur, after the filming ended.

"No one knew about it, because we are really not allowed to meet. They knew we were friends, but nothing more," she noted in the interview.

Vicky, who is known for being private, did not add much information about the secret relationship. "What is ours is ours, but today we are not together and we are not a couple. We tried something and in the end, we chose to remain friends. We were in a relationship, it's hard for me to define it exactly," she added. Along with this, she adds: "Aviatar and I are very good friends, he is the best friend and the only friend I have from the show, a true friend for conversations."

"He is a great guy, a person with a big heart, and he didn't come across that way on the show," she said regarding the criticism that flooded the web. "He was in a difficult situation, and it happens once a season that such an incident occurs."

As recalled, Dangur himself recently appeared as a guest on Danit Greenberg and Liki Menachem's podcast on V1 and was asked for the first time about the nature of the relationship. When asked about the news being circulated, he replied with a mysterious smile that rumors and reality are two different things. Greenberg did not give up and challenged him to call Vicky live to test her direct reaction.
