MMA Fighter Lucero Acosta Turns PFL Wardrobe Malfunction into Financial Win
Mexican MMA fighter Lucero Acosta turned a wardrobe malfunction during her PFL debut in Chicago into a financial success, boosting her OnlyFans subscribers.

Mexican MMA fighter Lucero Acosta might have lost her PFL debut, but financially she turned the situation to her advantage. The 32-year-old athlete, who also runs a paid OnlyFans account, became the talk of the town on social media after a wardrobe malfunction during her fight in Chicago led to an accidental live broadcast exposure.
The Chicago Incident
The event took place during Acosta's bout against Canadian Shannon Clark at a PFL event in Chicago. The Mexican fighter, nicknamed "La Lova" (The She-Wolf), started strong and troubled her opponent with long-range strikes. However, Clark managed to take her down near the end of the first round, gradually seizing control and dominating the third round.
During the final round, Clark took Acosta to the mat and unleashed a series of elbows and punches. Amidst the struggle, Acosta's top shifted, exposing her chest to the audience and television viewers. Acosta, busy defending herself, did not notice the malfunction. Referee Kevin McDonald stopped the fight at 1:59 of the third round, awarding Clark a technical knockout victory.
"A wardrobe malfunction during a knockout is brutal," wrote one social media user.
Turning a Mishap into Success
Acosta, however, was unfazed. On Sunday evening, she shared a post on her Instagram account highlighting the surge in her OnlyFans subscribers following the incident. "Extra pay on OnlyFans because we showed our nipples during the live PFL broadcast," she wrote alongside dollar signs and smiling emojis. "That's cute. Official sponsor."
