US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff announced that the United States will mediate working-level talks between Russia and Ukraine, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11. According to Witkoff, the initiative is designed to advance US President Donald Trump's ongoing efforts to bring the conflict to an end.

In a statement published on the X platform, Witkoff noted that the discussions will focus on post-war security arrangements, de-escalation measures, humanitarian efforts, and subsequent steps toward achieving lasting peace.

Simultaneously, the US envoy revealed that American representatives will hold meetings this week in Brussels with counterparts from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and NATO. These talks will address security guarantees for Ukraine, Europe's post-war security architecture, and economic opportunities aimed at supporting Ukraine's post-conflict reconstruction.

Witkoff emphasized that the Washington administration seeks to build upon the momentum achieved during previous discussions held in Kyiv, Oslo, and Saint Petersburg. He expressed optimism that these concerted diplomatic efforts will ultimately yield a comprehensive and stable peace agreement.

The announcement comes amid intensified American diplomatic engagement aimed at brokering a settlement to the war, with Washington simultaneously coordinating with Moscow, Kyiv, and European allies to shape the necessary political and security frameworks.
