Mother and daughter stabbed in Ramle, suspect arrested
Police report the incident in the Juwarish neighborhood stemmed from a family dispute. The suspect, in his 40s, will appear in court for a detention hearing.

A man in his 40s was arrested overnight between Friday and Saturday on suspicion of stabbing his relatives, a mother and her daughter, outside their home in the Juwarish neighborhood of Ramle.
The incident was reported to the MDA emergency center at 22:51. Medical teams arrived at the scene to provide initial treatment, subsequently evacuating the 18-year-old and 42-year-old victims to Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Hospital. Both are in moderate condition suffering from penetrating wounds.
According to the Shfela District police, the attack was motivated by a family dispute. Officers from the Ramle station successfully located and apprehended the suspect. Intelligence and forensic units have been collecting evidence at the scene to clarify the circumstances. The police will bring the suspect before the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva to request an extension of his detention.
