A woman in her 40s and her 18-year-old daughter were stabbed last night, Friday, outside their home in the Juwarish neighborhood in Ramle. Both victims sustained moderate injuries. Their relative, a man in his 40s, was arrested, and police stated that the background to the stabbing is apparently a family dispute.
The report on the incident was received at the Magen David Adom 101 emergency center at 22:51. Medics and paramedics called to the scene provided medical treatment to the two women and evacuated them to the Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Tzrifin. Police officers from the Ramle station arrived at the scene, conducted a search, and within minutes managed to locate and arrest the suspect, who is a relative of the victims. Simultaneously, forensic experts and police intelligence units are working at the scene, collecting evidence and examining the circumstances of the incident. The suspect will be brought to the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva, where the police will request to extend his detention in accordance with the investigation's progress.
