European destination expands schedule: 3 flights a week from Tel Aviv

The Latvian airline airBaltic, represented in Israel by Tal Aviation, has published its flight schedule for the 2027 summer season. As part of this, the company will offer 57 direct destinations from Riga, including the line from Tel Aviv which will operate three times a week, alongside an increase in the number of flights to popular destinations across Europe. Among the destinations where activity will be increased: London, Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, and Nice.
The new flight schedule will come into effect at the end of March 2027 and will operate until the end of October. It offers Israeli tourists a variety of options for trips across Europe, from central and well-known cities to less conventional destinations, including Split, Tivat, Turku, Tbilisi, and Reykjavik.
As part of the plan, airBaltic will increase the number of flights from Riga to central destinations in Europe. Up to 14 flights per week will operate to London Gatwick, while up to 12 weekly flights will operate to Paris and Vienna for each destination. Up to 7 flights per week will operate to Barcelona, Rome, Hamburg, and Dusseldorf, and the flight frequency will also be increased to Milan, Athens, Nice, Alicante, and Split.
For Israelis, the airBaltic network of destinations allows for combining a vacation in popular European cities with less conventional destinations. Passengers can choose between city breaks, summer vacations, and trips across the continent. In addition, the company notes that the update of flight schedules and connection times through Riga is intended to allow for a more convenient transfer between different destinations in the network.
In total, during the 2027 summer season, airBaltic will operate direct flights from Vilnius to 8 destinations and from Tallinn to 13 destinations, in addition to the 57 destinations from Riga. Among the central destinations in the network are Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Munich, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Vienna, and Zurich.
