A benefit worth 600 shekels: El Al and Isracard in a joint economic move
Planning to fly soon? El Al and Isracard are taking a surprising step that could provide you with significant dollar savings, alongside a critical warning for some cardholders. Everything you need to know.

The El Al Frequent Flyer Club and the Isracard company are launching a new recruitment campaign for the FLY CARD credit card, offering a benefit worth 200 dollars to be redeemed for the purchase of flight tickets on El Al and Sun D'Or. The promotion is intended for new applicants for the non-bank card, as well as for holders of the old FLY CARD from the Cal company who will transfer their activity to the new card with Isracard.
Furthermore, the benefit can be redeemed for all company destinations and in all service classes - tourist, premium, and business. As part of the move, which will begin on September 1 and continue until October 31, 2026, customers who join the card and make purchases totaling 10,000 shekels by the end of January 2027 will receive a benefit worth 200 dollars. The actual redemption can be made until the end of February 2027, for flights departing from October 5, 2026, until December 31, 2027, subject to the promotion's terms.
Alongside the promotion, it is emphasized that customers currently holding a FLY CARD from Cal are required to complete the transition to the new Isracard card by the end of 2026, as customers who do not make the transition by the end of the year will not be eligible for club benefits in 2027 and will lose the ability to continue accumulating points on the card.
"The new promotion gives those joining FLY CARD a benefit of 200 dollars to redeem on the purchase of their next flight ticket on El Al or Sun D'Or. The benefit allows for significant savings on the next flight and demonstrates the value that FLY CARD offers its customers. We will continue to expand the range of benefits and provide our customers with value with every use of the card," said Lilach Ben Artzi Levi, VP of Marketing for the Frequent Flyer Club and FLY CARD.
As a reminder, the El Al Frequent Flyer Club continues to expand its reach into various fields, having recently launched an unusual collaboration in the real estate sector. As part of the move with the "Yuvalim-City Boy" company, club members were offered the chance to accumulate valuable points when purchasing an apartment in the company's residential projects in Tel Aviv in transactions completed by the end of last May.
