About one hundred participants from four ultra-Orthodox pre-military academies completed an intensive field training week in the Goral Hills. The cadets, belonging to the 'Nitzotz BeEmuna', 'BeTzevetah', 'Tiferet Arazim', and 'Derech Emuna' academies under the 'Netzach' association, faced rigorous physical and mental challenges. Throughout the week, participants marched approximately thirty kilometers daily through complex terrain, mastered map reading and spatial orientation, erected field tents, and camped outdoors.

The training program is structured progressively to build physical and mental resilience ahead of upcoming military service. Initially accompanied closely by instructors to learn basic navigation fundamentals, the young men transitioned to independent team navigation. Rabbi Micha Perl, head of the preparatory division at 'Netzach', praised the cadets for successfully overcoming the demanding obstacles and demonstrating strong mutual responsibility during the closing ceremony.

The Netzach association, which currently operates seven ultra-Orthodox pre-military academies nationwide, emphasizes that this navigation exercise forms part of a comprehensive framework. Designed to prepare young recruits for meaningful combat service, the program allows graduates to enlist as cohesive units while maintaining their religious lifestyle and pursuing command tracks in the IDF.
