Turkey Emerges as Iran's Primary Financial Pipeline Amid US Pressure
Western intelligence reveals Turkey has become Iran's primary financial conduit, channeling tens of millions to Hamas amid intense US economic pressure and sanctions under President Donald Trump.

US Pressure and the Turkish Financial Pipeline
American pressure on Iran has not entirely closed the regime's financial channels, but it has restricted them to a level that is becoming a strategic problem for Tehran. Iran still manages to funnel money through banks, currency exchangers, crypto, and other routes, but simply not enough to save the regime.
According to Western intelligence assessments published now, Turkey has become the primary conduit through which money enters Iran. The Turkish axis is used by Tehran not only to bring money inward: according to our sources, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force recently attempted to revive Hamas, transferring large sums estimated in the tens of millions of dollars through Turkey to Hamas operatives in Turkey.
The US Economic Offensive and Trump's Policy
This reality unfolds against the backdrop of actions by the administration of US President Donald Trump, which has intensified economic pressure on Iran and warned that countries, banks, and companies continuing business ties with it may face American sanctions.
They need to know that this will move very quickly and that we are serious.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent presented the launch of an economic offensive against Iran's global financial network, which the administration termed "economic doomsday." Bessent made it clear that entities would be given a limited timeframe to adjust their operations.
Turkey's Dilemma Amid Energy Dependence
Alongside sweeping sanctions on dozens of entities and vessels tied to Iran, the central question remains how Turkey will handle the pressure. Trade volume between Turkey and Iran totaled about $5.5 billion in 2025, alongside Iran being a major gas supplier providing Turkey with some 7.6 billion cubic meters annually (about 13% of its total gas imports).
