US President Donald Trump believes that the conflict with Iran could conclude soon. In an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that the United States is winning the war against Iran on both economic and military fronts, predicting a sharp drop in oil prices once the campaign ends.
Trump noted that while significant military achievements have been made, this does not mean Iranian capabilities have completely ceased to exist. He emphasized that the combination of severe economic sanctions and military pressure is driving the potential resolution.
Meanwhile, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent presented an assessment indicating that economic pressure on Tehran is intensifying. Bessent stated in a Fox News interview that only about 15 million barrels of Iranian oil remain at sea destined for shipment, with final deliveries to China expected to conclude within roughly two weeks, leaving Iran with little left to trade.
