Do you know that moment when you are in a work meeting, and suddenly one of the participants gets a phone call and leaves the room? It happens to everyone, even to Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA. Only the calls that cause him to leave company meetings come from sources a bit more important than those of ordinary people, and now all NVIDIA employees know who was on the line.

"Jensen, you are still connected to the microphone"

When we toured the NVIDIA campus in San Jose a few years ago, employees showed us with great excitement the open area where the company's All Hands meetings take place. These are meetings that employees present in the office can join, while others connect to the live broadcast to send questions to the CEO and his iconic black jacket. But something strange happened at the last NVIDIA meeting when Huang received a surprise phone call.

"Ahhh, sorry, I have to answer this"

Last Thursday, Huang held a standard NVIDIA company call in Santa Clara, California. Thousands of employees were connected to the live broadcast when Huang received an unexpected call on his smartphone and asked to answer it off-air. Who could possibly make Huang leave in the middle of a call with all his employees? None other than US President Donald Trump. And how do we know this? Because the company's employees could hear Trump's voice after Huang forgot that he was connected to the microphone and that it was still on. This is reported by WIRED.

"The report is based on three sources who witnessed the meeting. Employees recognized Trump's voice, but could not hear what he said to Huang."

About a minute later, Huang returned to the stage and the broadcast, and the meeting continued as usual. That same day, Trump posted on Truth Social congratulating Huang on the company's achievements in the last quarter. It is clear that if the President of the United States calls you, even Jensen Huang answers immediately, even if he is in the middle of an important meeting.
