Tragedy in Eilat: Man aged about 50 drowns near Coral Beach
A man aged about 50 was pulled from the water unconscious this afternoon near the Coral Beach in Eilat. Bystanders began basic resuscitation efforts, and MADA teams summoned to the scene continued with advanced medical treatment. Unfortunately, despite intensive efforts, paramedics were forced to pronounce his death at the scene.

Tragedy in the southern city: A man aged about 50 drowned today, Tuesday, near the Coral Beach in Eilat. Around 13:06, a report was received at the MADA 101 dispatch center in the Negev region regarding a person pulled from the water unconscious.
Medical teams summoned to the scene found the man unconscious, while citizens who were at the beach at the time had already begun performing basic resuscitation efforts. MADA medics and paramedics immediately continued with advanced medical treatment, which included chest compressions, artificial respiration, and the administration of medication, in an attempt to save his life.
MADA paramedic Udi Edri and an emergency medical technician from the organization's motorcycle unit, Yehuda Ben Yitach, stated that upon arrival, they joined the bystanders and continued medical treatment. However, the intensive rescue efforts were to no avail. Following the medical intervention on the beach, the teams were forced to pronounce the man's death at the scene.
