Mixed trend in Asia; investors await the debut speech of the Fed Chair in Jackson Hole
Asian markets show a mixed trend as investors await the debut speech by new Fed Chair Kevin Warsh in Jackson Hole. Yesterday on Wall Street, Nvidia shares jumped 8.7%.

Trading on Asian stock exchanges is showing a mixed trend. In Tokyo, the Nikkei index is up 0.6%, the Hang Seng in Hong Kong is climbing 0.5%, the Kospi in Korea is down 1%, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange is rising 0.1%.
Yesterday, trading on Wall Street closed with gains: the Dow Jones climbed 0.2%, the S&P 500 strengthened by 0.7%, and the Nasdaq rose 1.6%. Nvidia jumped 8.7% following its quarterly reports, reaching a market capitalization of 5.517 trillion dollars.
This morning, Wall Street futures are stable. Investors are looking to Jackson Hole, USA, where the central bankers' conference is taking place this weekend. The main event will be the speech today by the new Fed Chair, Kevin Warsh (17:00 Israel time).
"Investors have very little history with the way Warsh speaks," said Natalia Luzevski, CEO at CIFC Asset Management. "New chairs use this platform to set the framework for their tenure, and his speech today will influence how every official figure released over the next year is examined."
