Suspect arrested for stabbing a man in Tel Aviv after fleeing police
A 57-year-old resident of south Tel Aviv was arrested on suspicion of stabbing another foreign worker. The suspect discarded a knife while fleeing from police, which was later recovered. Police will request an extension of his detention in court this morning.

A 57-year-old foreign worker was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of involvement in a stabbing incident involving another foreign national in south Tel Aviv. At the request of the police, the suspect is expected to appear in court this morning for a hearing to extend his detention.
Following reports of the stabbing, in which the victim sustained serious injuries, officers from the Tel Aviv South station apprehended the suspect shortly after he attempted to flee the scene. During the pursuit, the suspect discarded a knife, which was subsequently recovered by police and is being investigated as the weapon used in the attack.
The suspect has been transferred to the Tel Aviv South station for questioning. He will be brought before the court later today, where police will request to extend his detention in accordance with the requirements of the investigation.
