Police and Tax Authority Seize Vehicles Over 6 Million Shekels in Debt
Israeli police and tax authorities seized 11 vehicles in Shefa-Amr and I'billin over unpaid debts totaling 6 million shekels as part of ongoing enforcement operations in the north.

Police and Tax Authority personnel raided targets in Shefa-Amr and I'billin early Thursday morning as part of a joint tax collection operation. During the operation, 11 vehicles belonging to debtors who accumulated a total debt of approximately 6 million shekels were seized and towed.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the enforcement units of VAT Haifa and the North, the Northern Collection Enforcement Unit, and officers from the Shefa-Amr police station. The debts targeted in the seizures relate to VAT Haifa, income tax, and real estate taxation in Nazareth.
This enforcement action follows similar operations in the north over recent months. In July, 12 vehicles, including pickup trucks and motorcycles, were impounded in the Haifa and Krayot area over tax debts totaling approximately 16 million shekels, with participation from police and tax authorities.
Authorities stated that the joint operation is part of an ongoing crackdown on economic crimes that undermine public trust, and vowed to continue coordinated efforts against illegal financial and criminal activities.
