Tamir recycling corporation has launched a new initiative titled "360 Orange" aimed at significantly increasing packaging waste separation in Israel. The program is based on strengthening cooperation with local authorities, adapting separation infrastructure in the field, making it more accessible to residents, and conducting targeted public awareness campaigns.

Following a published call for proposals, 13 diverse local authorities and regional councils were selected to participate in the project. These include Eilat, Petah Tikva, Rishon LeZion, Ness Ziona, Ramat Gan, Netanya, Yehud-Monoson, and Tzur Hadassah, alongside the regional councils of Bnei Shimon, Emek HaYarden, Mateh Asher, Upper Galilee, and Gezer.

The program offers a comprehensive working model combining physical infrastructure solutions with public engagement. The process includes professional guidance starting from assessing the current situation and formulating a municipal strategy, through upgrading the deployment of orange bins, to measuring and controlling field data. The primary goal is the massive diversion of packaging waste from green bins destined for landfills to orange bins designated for recycling.
