Channel 14 Launches New Political Satire and Analysis Show "The Surgeons' Table"
Channel 14 launches "The Surgeons' Table", a new political analysis show featuring top Israeli leaders ahead of upcoming elections, examined by a panel of five experts.
Channel 14 is shifting gears in its broadcasting schedule with the launch of a new program titled "The Surgeons' Table". The format takes a close look at leading figures in the political arena just before the public heads to the ballot boxes, combining a lighthearted approach with sharp insights and a completely different perspective on the nation's leaders. The series will air Sunday through Wednesday evenings on Channel 14, immediately following the flagship show "The Patriots".
The center of each episode will feature a roster of prominent political personalities, including Benjamin Netanyahu, Naftali Bennett, Itamar Ben Gvir, Gadi Eisenkot, Avigdor Lieberman, Yair Golan, Bezalel Smotrich, and Aryeh Deri. The program will examine issues that elected officials often prefer to conceal—ranging from their financial assets and body language to their fashion choices and personal signatures. Alongside these analyses, the show will feature exclusive polls by Shlomo Filber tracking public sentiment in daily life.
Each episode will feature a panel of five multidisciplinary experts dissecting the politicians: Aviatar Ben Porat, entrepreneur and host of "The Economic Compass", analyzing financial status and capital; Hanan Amior, journalist and media critic, evaluating rhetoric and speeches; Dorit Uziel, communications expert uncovering non-verbal messages in body language; Liat Ashuri, leading stylist examining fashion and visual image; and Yuval Ben Bast, graphologist decoding secrets behind handwriting and signatures.
