Following a party for minors with alcohol: a loft in Ashdod closed for 12 days

The police issued today (Wednesday) an administrative closure order for 12 days for a loft in Ashdod, where a party with the participation of minors was held on the eve of the start of the school year, and large quantities of alcohol were found.

The development follows yesterday's report on Walla regarding police raids on several events involving minors in the south. One of the parties took place in a loft in the industrial zone of Ashdod and was intended for teenagers entering the 12th grade.

During the operation at the site, police officers found various types of alcohol. Furthermore, the investigation revealed that the loft was operating without the required business license. The individuals involved were questioned, and the police collected evidence regarding the activity at the site. Following the findings, a hearing was held for the loft owners, at the end of which the police decided to order its closure for 12 days.

In the police operation that took place two days ago, minors were located celebrating without proper supervision. In some of the locations, significant quantities of alcohol were found that were accessible to the teenagers, and as part of the operation, the police confiscated bottles and stopped the events.

After dispersing the parties, the police took testimonies from several of the minors who were present at the site and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the events. In parallel, investigative actions were carried out against the parties responsible for the events and the locations where they were held.

The commander of the Ashdod police station stated that the consumption of alcohol by minors increases the risk of violence and crime, and added that the police will continue to act against businesses operating against the law, especially at events where minors participate.
