Cabinet Member Orit Strock Warns Iran and Urges Right-Wing Unity
Cabinet member Orit Strock warned Iran against engaging with Israel, criticized former military secretary leaks, and urged right-wing unity ahead of the elections.
Cabinet member Orit Strock warned Iran against engaging with Israel, stating that the country is prepared for any scenario. In a recent interview, she also criticized Avi Gil's remarks on Channel 12, calling it a disgrace that an official who held a close relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would speak publicly in such a manner.
Settlement and Regional Development
Strock emphasized her party's commitment to Jewish settlement efforts in the Negev and the Galilee, describing it as an inspiring movement of modern pioneers. She noted that the initiative to settle the northern border has received an overwhelming response from young families across the country.
If we have the political power, we will transfer the entire settlement revolution to the heart of the Galilee and the heart of the Negev. This is simply a strategic necessity for the State of Israel, Strock stated.
Warning to Right-Wing Factions
Addressing smaller right-wing factions at risk of failing to pass the electoral threshold, Strock urged them to unite or withdraw to prevent endangering the right-wing bloc. She warned against dividing the vote, emphasizing the critical stakes for the future of the nation.
Security and Gaza Policy
Turning to security matters, Strock addressed discussions regarding the Gaza Strip, reiterating that any progress must be contingent upon the complete demilitarization of the enclave and the destruction of Hamas. She stated that she raised these concerns directly with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the cabinet meeting.
