The Shas party has launched an extensive outdoor advertising campaign aimed at combating complacency among the ultra-Orthodox public and increasing voter turnout in the upcoming elections. Under the slogan "Do not let them win. This is our very soul!", billboards have been put up in ultra-Orthodox cities and neighborhoods across the country, featuring messages warning against the establishment of a secular left-wing government.

The campaign focuses heavily on Bnei Brak, Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, and Elad, as part of the party's election preparations. The advertisements display quotes attributed to senior officials in the left-wing bloc, which Shas claims reflect an intention to harm the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle and issues important to the religious public.

Party officials fear that low voter turnout among the ultra-Orthodox public could damage the strength of the political bloc to which it belongs, and are therefore seeking to impress upon voters the significance of the election. The central message of the campaign is that every single vote could influence the composition of the next government.

"This is a battle for the soul of the country," Shas sources said. "If the ultra-Orthodox public does not turn out in masses to the polling stations, we might wake up the day after the election to a left-wing government that will harm the Shabbat, the Western Wall, conversion, yeshiva budgets, and the entire world of Torah".
