Famous Singer's Son Arrested in Jerusalem Over Commercial Cannabis Possession
The son of a famous Israeli singer was arrested in Jerusalem on suspicion of possessing 1.1 kilograms of cannabis divided into commercial portions for distribution.
The son of a famous singer and actress was arrested overnight in Jerusalem on suspicion of possessing drugs not for personal use. The 28-year-old resident of Modiin was caught with a commercial quantity of suspected cannabis.
The arrest took place during an operational activity by Oz station police in the Jerusalem district. According to police reports, patrolling forces noticed a vehicle that raised their suspicion and ordered the driver to pull over for inspection.
During the search of the young man's vehicle, officers located approximately 1.1 kilograms of suspected cannabis. The seized drugs were not kept in a single batch, but were already divided into dozens of small bags ready for sale.
Given the packaging and the large quantity, investigators estimate the material was not intended for personal use. Police stated that the quantity was destined for distribution across Jerusalem and the suspect was transferred to the Oz station for questioning.
