Shimon Buskila is the singer arrested on suspicion of violence: "We trust the police"
The veteran singer was taken for questioning under caution at the police station following a complaint filed against him. The complainant alleged harassment and threats, adding that the singer did not stop contacting her even though they had separated.

The police arrested a well-known singer this past weekend on suspicion of violent offenses against his former partner. Today, Sunday, it was permitted for publication that the singer is Shimon Buskila. He was taken for questioning under caution at the police station following a complaint filed against him.
According to reports, the complainant alleged harassment and threats, adding that the singer did not stop contacting her even though they had separated. Following the complaint, officers from the Lev Tel Aviv police station summoned Buskila this past Friday for questioning under caution on suspicion of harassment and threats. During the interrogation, he provided his version of events, and subsequently, a confrontation was held between him and the complainant, during which her allegations were presented to him.
At the end of the interrogation, the singer was released under restrictive conditions. The investigation into his case is ongoing, and at this stage, no decision has been made regarding the continuation of the proceedings against him. A statement on behalf of the singer said:
"We trust the police."
As recalled, just last week a similar incident occurred with another Israeli singer. After several days of investigation and rumors, Ofek Adank put an end to it and revealed that he was the suspected singer. Adank was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence offenses after his partner filed a complaint against him, claiming that he had acted violently towards her, threatened her, and broke windows. The singer was taken for questioning under caution at the police station in Rishon LeZion.
