A Russian drone struck a school in Kyiv on Thursday morning, causing a fire, but over 100 students inside were sheltering in a safe room and no casualties were reported, according to Reuters.
Security camera footage verified by the agency showed a massive fireball after the drone hit the third floor of the building. Windows were shattered and rescue workers operated among the debris.
School principal Valentyna Chorna told local media after the attack that "they spare no one," adding that children are the nation's future and targets for destruction.
Meanwhile, the Southern Bridge over the Dnieper River was also reportedly hit. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that no significant damage was caused, but metro traffic was temporarily halted.
