Stock market summary: Tel Aviv closed with gains, these are the stocks that stood out

The flagship indices closed with gains led by energy and technology stocks, with one company standing out in particular and leaving the rest of the market behind with an impressive jump of over 7 percent.

Trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange ended today with gains in the flagship indices, as stocks in the energy and technology sectors stood out positively and led the market trend. At the same time, trading in government bonds was relatively stable, with no significant change in price levels.

The TA-35 index rose by 0.65%, while the TA-125 index recorded an increase of 0.73%. Among the stocks that stood out today in the TA-125 index is Camtek, which climbed by 7.79%. It was followed by Nofar Energy, which rose by 7.23%, Priority Technology Solutions, which added 6.01%, Mega Or, which rose by 5.78%, and QualiTau, which strengthened by 5.37%.

On the other hand, declines were also recorded in several key stocks. R.P. Optical fell by 5.18%, Opko Health lost 3.39%, Navitas Petroleum weakened by 2.32%, Summit fell by 2.26%, and Nice retreated by 1.96%.

Regarding trading volumes, activity in stocks totaled about 2.3 billion shekels. The trading volume in bonds reached about 2.2 billion shekels, while a volume of about 969 million shekels was recorded in short-term treasury bills (MAKAM).

In the foreign exchange market, the following representative rates were set: the dollar at 3.005 shekels, the euro at 3.4932 shekels, and the pound sterling at 4.0681 shekels.

In the United States, futures on stock indices are trading stably, with the S&P 500 index continuing to trade near peak levels. Investors are turning their attention to the employment data for August, which are expected to influence market assessments regarding the future interest rate policy of the US Federal Reserve.
