The Religious Zionism party launched a sharp counterattack following the establishment of a new religious-national headquarters within the Yashar! party, led by Gadi Eisenkot. Former MK Matan Kahana will head the new body, which aims to attract voters from the religious Zionist base.

Religious Zionism figures recognize that Eisenkot and Kahana's move is designed to erode their support. According to their assessment, the new headquarters attempts to woo undecided voters by combining security messaging with a state-liberal agenda, positioning itself as an alternative.

Reut Ben Chaim, a candidate on behalf of the party, led the firm response, directly attacking Kahana. "It's simply unbelievable," Ben Chaim said, adding that for three years Kahana, alongside Eisenkot, Avigdor Lieberman, and Yair Golan, called on Israel to stop the war.

Ben Chaim further accused them of calling to retreat and surrender to Hamas, questioning how they now dare to criticize the continuation of military operations. She concluded with a sharp rhetorical question: "Do they think we have all forgotten?"
