Transportation Minister Miri Regev has demanded the immediate freezing of Flydubai flights to Israel following a security incident, sparking a diplomatic standoff with the security establishment.

Regev insists on halting the Emirati carrier's operations until the circumstances are clarified and wants to prioritize Israeli airlines on the route. She also ordered an investigation into whether aviation agreements were violated regarding pilot passport requirements.
