Ran Danker returned to Festigal with a change in his appearance

Ran Danker arrived yesterday, Thursday, August 27, at the launch of "TOP SECRET Festigal" at Cinema City Glilot. Alongside the announcements about the show, a small but very visible change in his appearance stood out.

Danker's presence at the launch was not a surprise. Last June, it was first revealed on ForReal that Danker had been cast in Festigal and would return to the Hanukkah show stage. This will be Danker's fifth time at Festigal, after participating in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2021 (the sixth, if counting the Festigal that did not take place in 2020).

What was surprising was the look. Danker arrived at the venue with a prominent mustache - unlike his usual "I forgot to shave this week" look.

Yesterday also brought the official announcement from the production. At the launch, the show's name, theme song, and plot line, which combines espionage and music, were revealed.

At the center of the plot is a group of young agents required to turn into a pop band within a month and participate in a music competition to save the world. Because if you are going to save humanity, there is probably no reason to do it without choreography.

Who will perform at Festigal 2026

Alongside Danker, this year's performers include Noa Kirel, Eliana Tidhar, Israel Atias, Yaniv Swissa, Daniel Stiopin, Shahar Taboch, Idan Telem, Hili Toledano, Omer Nudelman, Amir Banai, Shira Zaluf, Noa Astanjelov, and Dylan Dror. Eden Ben Zaken will participate as a guest singer.

According to the production's announcement, ticket sales will open on August 30 at 13:00, and the premiere show will take place on November 28, 2026.

And back to the change the cameras caught. Is it a look for a role in Festigal, a fashion decision, or just a new relationship with facial hair? At this stage, it cannot be determined.
