Ramla Court Sentences Avner Alouk to 44 Months Over Fictitious Invoices
Ramla Magistrate's Court sentenced Avner Alouk to 44 months in prison and a 100,000 shekel fine for using 5.75 million shekels in fictitious tax invoices.

The Magistrate's Court in Ramla has sentenced Avner Alouk, owner of Sagiv Fire Protection Technologies, to 44 months in prison for severe tax offenses involving millions of shekels.
Between 2012 and 2015, Alouk's company used 139 fictitious invoices from five different companies to illegally deduct input tax totaling approximately 5.75 million shekels. He was convicted of 35 offenses of illegal input tax deductions and ordered to pay a 100,000 shekel fine.
The indictment, filed in 2018, revealed that Alouk attempted to conceal his involvement by appointing figurehead managers. The court established that Alouk remained the dominant mastermind behind the operation.
The judge emphasized Alouk's prior criminal record for tax offenses, which included a previous prison sentence, and noted that he failed to repay any of the embezzled funds throughout the legal proceedings.
