Netanya Police Raid Uncovers Major Drug Distribution Hub in Residential Apartment
Detectives from the 'Shdot' station have dismantled a drug packaging and distribution laboratory in a residential apartment in Netanya. Officers seized over 20 kilograms of cocaine and cannabis, along with 7,000 shekels in cash. A suspect in his 20s from Hod HaSharon has been arrested, and police are seeking an extension of his detention.

Police officers from the Central District have uncovered dozens of kilograms of various drugs, including cannabis and cocaine, inside a residential apartment in Netanya. A resident of the central region has been arrested in connection with the case.
The apartment, raided by detectives from the 'Shdot' station in the Sharon region, was allegedly used as a large-scale hub for packaging and distributing dangerous drugs. During the operation, police discovered a room specifically dedicated to the weighing, packaging, and distribution of illicit substances. Over 20 kilograms of cannabis and cocaine were seized at the scene, alongside approximately 7,000 shekels in cash. All evidence has been transferred to the Israel Police forensic laboratories for further processing.
Following the operation, a suspect in his 20s, a resident of Hod HaSharon, was taken into custody for questioning. Police intend to bring the suspect before the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court to request an extension of his detention as the investigation continues.
