Prince Andrew is taking legal action against local police in the United Kingdom following his arrest in February. His legal team is challenging the search warrants used during raids on his properties, including the Royal Lodge in Windsor and a property in Sandringham, and is demanding an official investigation into the matter.

The former prince was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, following information that emerged from the Jeffrey Epstein files in the United States. Thames Valley Police confirmed they are involved in legal proceedings regarding warrants obtained from the Central Criminal Court, declining to comment further while proceedings are ongoing.

The arrest took place on Andrew's 66th birthday, after which he was released from custody. He continues to consistently deny any wrongdoing regarding his ties to the late convicted sex offender, while police emphasize that the ongoing investigation into his case remains active.
