Man Rescued After Hours Trapped in Forest Near Mevaseret Tzion

Israeli police successfully rescued a man late Saturday night after he fell and became trapped in a wooded area near Mevaseret Tzion, close to Jerusalem. Officers from the Harel station launched an extensive search following reports from teenagers who heard cries for help.

According to preliminary police findings, the man had been walking along a path to check access to his vehicle when he slipped and fell into the forest. He remained trapped under a fallen tree for several hours, from the afternoon until early morning when officers located him.

Police stated that the man was safely extracted from the site and subsequently transferred for medical evaluation and further treatment.
