Police Raid Illegal Gambling Dens, Arrest Four Suspects in Bat Yam and Ramat Gan
Israeli police raided illegal gambling dens in Bat Yam and Ramat Gan, arresting four suspects and seizing cash, luxury cars, and a fraudulent October 7 disability certificate.

Israeli police arrested four suspects during overnight raids on illegal gambling dens in Bat Yam and Ramat Gan, which allegedly turned over millions of shekels. The operation followed a covert investigation by the Tel Aviv District Central Unit into illegal gambling, money laundering, and extortion.
During the raids on Yekuel Street in Bat Yam and Bezalel Street in Ramat Gan, officers seized dozens of computers, playing card sets, and cash. Searches at the suspects' homes uncovered about half a million shekels in cash, jewelry, and luxury vehicles believed to have been purchased with illicit funds. Investigators also found that the suspects allegedly extorted an individual, forcing him to manage one of the gambling dens.
Two of the suspects attempted to flee during the police intervention but were swiftly apprehended. Authorities discovered that one of them possessed a disability certificate fraudulently obtained by falsely claiming his leg was amputated after being shot during the October 7 attacks.
The four suspects, residents of Holon, Bat Yam, and Ramla aged 20 to 40, were taken for questioning. They are scheduled to appear at the Magistrate's Court for a hearing regarding the police request to extend their detention.
