Percepto co-founder and CEO Dor Abuhassira is stepping down after 12 years at the helm of the Israeli industrial drone and autonomous inspection tech company. His departure follows the exit of co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Ariel Avitan, who left the firm after 11 years to pursue new ventures.

Strategic Leadership Shift

Abuhassira reflected on his tenure, recalling how the venture started with improvised drones built in his backyard before evolving into a global pioneer in autonomous industrial operations. Following these leadership changes, Percepto announced the appointment of Julien Blanquet as its new Chief Executive Officer. Blanquet brings extensive managerial experience in scaling multinational corporations and commercializing enterprise technology solutions as the company enters a new phase of global expansion.

Launch of Axion Platform

Alongside the executive transition, Percepto unveiled Axion, a physical artificial intelligence software platform designed to process visual and sensor data not only from its proprietary drones but also from third-party fleets and industrial sensors. Founded in 2014, Percepto has raised significant capital, including a $67 million funding round in June 2023 led by Koch Disruptive Technologies, to bolster its autonomous infrastructure monitoring solutions.
