PA and PLO Faced with Massive 5.151 Billion Shekel Lawsuit Over October 7
A massive 5.151 billion shekel lawsuit has been filed in the Jerusalem District Court against the Palestinian Authority, the PLO, and Qadura Fares by nearly 900 plaintiffs, alleging complicity, planning, and financing of the October 7 massacre.

A massive lawsuit seeking 5.151 billion shekels has been filed against the Palestinian Authority, the PLO, and Qadura Fares, the PA and PLO minister for prisoner affairs, at the Jerusalem District Court.
The legal action involves nearly 900 plaintiffs, including families of victims from the October 7 massacre, victims of hostilities, and soldiers wounded in the combat. The suit was submitted by the law firm Dr. Gideon Fisher & Co. and attorney Mordechai Heller.
Core Allegations in the Lawsuit
According to the statement of claim, the defendants financed Hamas, had prior knowledge of the massacre, actively participated in its planning, and trained the terrorists who carried out the attacks. The plaintiffs argue that the defendants bear direct responsibility for the damages incurred under the Terrorism Victims Compensation Law.
"The new lawsuit joins an international legal campaign conducted by our firm since October 7, in Israel and the United States," stated Prof. Gideon Fisher.
Expanding the Legal Battle
The lawsuit connects the defendants to preparations dating back to 2018, when a joint operations room was allegedly established by terror factions in the Gaza Strip, including elements linked to the PLO, Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. This latest multi-billion-shekel suit follows a previous 4.5 billion shekel claim filed by the firm, which resulted in the attachment of 400 million shekels in PA funds.
