Otzma Yehudit Denies Reports of Netanyahu Coalition Assurances
Otzma Yehudit denied reports that Benjamin Netanyahu assured Itamar Ben Gvir of coalition inclusion, calling the claims absolute fake news.
The Otzma Yehudit party has strongly denied a ynet report claiming that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and MK Tally Gotliv to alleviate concerns about the party's inclusion in the next governing coalition.
In an official statement, the party declared: "The report regarding a conversation between the Prime Minister, Minister Ben Gvir, and MK Tally Gotliv, in which the Prime Minister allegedly calmed fears that Otzma Yehudit will not be brought into the next coalition, is absolute fake news. No conversation has taken place in recent weeks between Minister Ben Gvir and the Prime Minister, nor have any such messages been sent."
Otzma Yehudit countered that mounting reports suggest the Prime Minister's Office has conveyed messages to various international actors indicating the party will not be part of the upcoming government. The faction linked these developments to Likud campaign efforts promoting a unity government and alleged briefings by senior PMO officials against including Ben Gvir in a future administration.
