Actor Amir Banai has revealed more than once the price of fame he paid in his childhood. While he is marked as one of the most prominent and strong contestants on "Dancing with the Stars" and is on his way to participating in the Festigal, Banai speaks honestly about the bullying he endured at school following the public statements of his mother, the comedian Orna Banai.

Amir Banai is currently participating in the dance season of "Dancing with the Stars" on Keshet 12. His mother, Orna, makes sure to attend his various performances on stage and supports him with all her heart. In the episode that aired on Sunday, a special family moment was recorded. Moments after Amir finished his dance, the show's host, Lucy Ayoub, turned to Orna Banai to hear her opinion on the performance and the journey her son is going through in the competition.

"I took to heart what Haim Pershtein said two weeks ago, that the role of my life is to be Amir's mother, so I come here as much as possible. It's a bit like a hobby class for me, because I didn't go to a dance class myself," she shared with her characteristic humor.

Banai continued to shower compliments on her son: "I agree that he is the most talented in the Banai family. You don't know, but he is also a dental hygienist. He does a lot of things. Whatever his hand touches, he is good at. My father said this also about Eviatar, that there are indeed people who are talented at everything, and Amir is like that. When he enjoys something, he goes with it to the end."

"It started in childhood with soccer, then moved to drumming, then to guitar, then to piano, and then he even explored the stock market — he has touched on all sorts of things," she detailed his life path. "I'm counting on you, honey, we don't have much money," she joked at the end of her remarks, receiving cheers from the audience.

As recalled, a moment of anxiety was recorded at the Neve Ilan studios last week. A few hours before going live on "Dancing with the Stars," Amir Banai injured his forehead during the final dress rehearsals for the program.
