OpenAI Appoints Moti Hadas to Lead New Service and Sales Operations in Israel

Hadas announced on his LinkedIn page that he has been appointed as the founder of the Israeli operation, marking the arrival of the artificial intelligence giant to the Israeli digital community. The move highlights the strategic importance of the Israeli arena for OpenAI.
About two months ago, sources close to the company indicated there were no plans to open local operations in Israel. Now, perhaps driven by the global expansion of its competitor Anthropic, OpenAI appears to have been convinced to establish a local presence. At this stage, it remains unclear whether Hadas will operate from Israel or London, where other Israelis represent the company toward the international market, though Hadas notes on his personal page that he resides in Israel.
In his post, Hadas thanked his direct manager, Nikolai Skavbo, who manages go-to-market (GTM) service and sales for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region from London, and Clement Andre, an Ireland resident who also oversees significant consulting and sales activities in Europe.
