Did they take it into account? Gal Amitai and Efrat Dor caught in a storm during their honeymoon

It turns out there are couples in the industry who prefer their romance with a bit more extreme and a lot more dust, just like Gal Amitai (40) and Efrat Dor (43). The pair decided to spend their honeymoon at the Burning Man festival in Nevada, and along the way received an unforgettable gift straight from Mother Nature: a sandstorm.

The two found themselves in the midst of preparations for the festival as they documented in their stories the sandstorm that covered the area—a phenomenon that could slightly disrupt their plans to enjoy their honeymoon properly. However, there is a chance they took everything into account, as this is a fairly well-known occurrence in the festival area.

The signs pointing to their choice of honeymoon destination appeared as early as their wedding. Just at the end of June, the couple stood under the chuppah at an event defined as a "festival of love," lasting three consecutive days in the Dead Sea area, facing the desert sunset. Only 220 family members and friends from the industry were invited to the exclusive and meticulous event, with actor Moshe Ashkenazi officiating the ceremony.

For Dor's second look at the wedding, the bride changed into a top and pants that were pre-selected to match the atmosphere of the Nevada festival, signaling what was to come. The wedding followed a little over two years of a stable relationship that began in April 2024. The exciting proposal took place during a vacation in Cyprus, when Amitai knelt on a boat in the presence of Dor's two children.

For both actors, this is a second chapter: Amitai divorced Shir Levinson after two years of marriage, while Dor was married for over a decade to director Moshik Maimon.
