Ofer Winter Warns Against Shutting Down Bnei David Academy in Eli
Ofer Winter visited the Bnei David academy in Eli, warning that anyone attempting to shut down the institution would face fierce resistance.
During a tour in the West Bank on Friday with members of his party, Ofer Winter visited the Bnei David pre-military academy in Eli, meeting with its rabbis and hundreds of students. Winter, a graduate of the academy's second cohort, emphasized the importance of maintaining lifelong ties with the institution.
In his remarks to the students, in an apparent reference to Democrats leader Yair Golan, Winter warned that anyone attempting to shut down the academy would face fierce resistance. "Anyone who even thinks of raising a finger against the Eli academy will find me standing firmly against them with full force," Winter declared.
Concluding his visit, Winter met with the academy's heads, Rabbi Yigal Levinstein and Rabbi Eli Sadan, alongside other educators. Rabbi Sadan praised Winter's character regarding his entry into politics, stating that he knows Winter to be a humble man of pure intentions dedicated to the people of Israel, dismissing criticisms as baseless.
