Ofer Winter Dismisses Turnout Warnings as Amcha Yisrael Pushes for Knesset
Amcha Yisrael leader Ofer Winter has rejected pollster predictions that high voter turnout will eliminate small parties, insisting his faction is seeing record support.

Amcha Yisrael Party leader Ofer Winter has dismissed predictions that high voter turnout will wipe out smaller factions, insisting his party is seeing record numbers at the polls.
Winter's comments came in response to an assessment by pollster Shlomo Filber, who suggested that a dramatic surge in voter participation would likely eliminate smaller parties from the Knesset.
"Contrary to the alarmist claims being circulated, our strongholds have seen a record number of voters since the morning," the Amcha Yisrael headquarters stated following an internal situation assessment.
Winter stressed that the race remains tight and urged supporters to push the party past the electoral threshold. "You need to push us from four to five mandates and even more," Winter said. "Do not believe the orchestrated panic against us; our data shows a clear wave of support moving toward us."
According to the Central Election Committee, voter turnout reached 55.7% by 4:00 PM, compared to 47.5% at the same hour in the previous election. However, recent polls, including a Channel 13 survey published on October 23, showed Amcha Yisrael at 3.1%, sitting just below the 3.25% threshold required to enter the Knesset.
"I call on you to keep coming and voting. Bring your family, bring your friends, and vote for Amcha Yisrael," Winter concluded, urging supporters to help prevent the formation of a government involving rival political figures.
