A violent incident occurred on Tuesday at a polling station in Holon when a dispute between political activists escalated into a physical assault. According to preliminary reports, one of the activists attacked two rival campaigners and fled the scene. Police officers from the Holon station have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident and are working to locate the suspect, who remains at large.

The Democrats party stated that one of the victims is a volunteer stationed at their Holon booth. According to the party, the volunteer was punched repeatedly by an activist associated with National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir until he lost consciousness.

Following the incident, the party announced that Chairman Yair Golan halted his schedule and headed to Holon to support local activists. Golan is expected to deliver a video statement regarding the assault.

The party claims this event follows an alleged stabbing attempt against its chairman earlier in the day in Tel Aviv, alongside a series of threats and attacks targeting party activists in major cities throughout election day.

The Democrats stated: "The incitement by outgoing Prime Minister Netanyahu has completely permeated the grassroots and is manifesting today on election day. We will not let anyone disrupt the proper electoral process, and we will not be deterred or frightened by threats and attacks."
