Five Injured in Russian Drone Attack on Ukraine's Port City of Odesa

Five people were injured on Sunday morning following a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Odesa. The strikes targeted residential areas, following a lethal attack the previous day that claimed the lives of two people.

Unmanned aerial vehicles reached the skies over Odesa on Sunday morning, hitting several locations. Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa military administration, updated his Telegram channel on the situation, stating that residential districts had been damaged across several parts of the city while authorities assessed the full extent of the damage.

The current strike comes just a day after Russia targeted an apartment building in the city, an incident that left two people dead and 26 others injured.

The major Ukrainian port city has faced continuous missile and drone attacks in recent months. These strikes have forced authorities to close maritime ports essential to Ukraine's export network. Meanwhile, authorities in western Ukraine reported additional targets hit overnight and into the morning, though no civilian casualties have been reported in those regions so far.
