While the documentary film "NZA" by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Shor circulates globally, featuring testimonies from former Israeli intelligence personnel regarding the conduct of operations in the Gaza Strip, three Israeli creators are launching their own counter-offensive with the documentary "NZA: The True Story".
The Battle for the Narrative
The original film premiered at the Venice Film Festival and won the Jury Prize, drawing on interviews with 24 anonymous Israeli intelligence and military personnel. In Israel, it sparked sharp criticism from political and security figures. The IDF rejected the claims presented in the film, stating that it relies on anonymous and unverifiable testimonies.

They shift the spotlight to Hamas, highlighting the use of civilian buildings and neighborhoods for combat purposes, terrorist operatives disguised as civilians, weapon storage in civilian structures, and the exploitation of humanitarian aid.

Produced during a quiet public diplomacy initiative, some scenes were filmed at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv. The identity of several individuals involved in the production remains confidential for security reasons.
