Marking three years since the October 7 terrorist attacks, roughly 1,000 Christian leaders and community influencers from around the world gathered at the Supernova festival site near Re'im as part of the Friends of Zion Ambassadors Conference. The delegates met with massacre survivors, returned hostages, and bereaved families to bear witness to their accounts.

During the gathering, Dr. Mike Evans, founder and president of Friends of Zion, presented the 'Hineni' award to four Israelis whose personal stories have become symbols of October 7: former hostages Noa Argamani, Romi Gonen, Elkana Bohbot, and Hila Avir, sister of the late Lotan Avir, who was murdered at the festival.

Return to the Nova Site

For Argamani, this marked her first visit to the festival grounds since she was abducted by Hamas on October 7. Addressing the international delegation, she expressed her profound gratitude.

"Thank you so much for coming to this place. Thank you for everything you do and for all your love and support."

Evans turned to Argamani and offered words of encouragement, stating that the world stands with her and that her immense pain will eventually become her strength.

Gonen, who also received the 'Hineni' award, delivered an emotional address recalling her late friend Gaia, who was murdered at the festival, and Ben Shimonim, who saved her and twelve others before losing his life. She also remembered Ofir Tzarfati, who was abducted alongside her and did not survive, and Emily Damari, who endured 431 days in captivity with her.

A Global Gathering of Solidarity

The visit to the Nova site is part of the annual Friends of Zion Ambassadors Conference held in Jerusalem in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, bringing together prominent Christian leaders and advocates from across the globe to express steadfast support for the nation.
