Netanyahu Criticizes Rivals and Warns Against Right-Wing Vote Splitting
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized Ofer Winter and Gadi Eisenkot during a live broadcast, warning against right-wing vote splitting and promising to lower the cost of living.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a range of pressing political and economic issues in a live broadcast on Friday, focusing on the upcoming 2026 Knesset elections, right-wing faction dynamics, and the soaring cost of living.
During his remarks, Netanyahu launched a sharp critique of Ofer Winter, leader of the Amcha Yisrael Party, claiming that Winter intends to siphon votes away from the right-wing bloc and hand them to the left. Addressing claims by Winter's candidates that Netanyahu initially wanted them in Likud before turning against them, the prime minister stated that any doubts could have been resolved had they joined the party directly.
Netanyahu also dismissed the governing prospects of Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yeshar Party, asserting that even biased media polls show Eisenkot lacks any viable path to forming a government. On the economic front, the prime minister pledged to dismantle monopolies and systematically lower the cost of living.
Furthermore, Netanyahu warned that Iran and its regional proxies are seeking to instigate provocations ahead of the elections, and he criticized foreign and domestic media narratives while urging his supporters not to yield to condescension.
