A 40-year-old resident of Netanya has been formally indicted on 16 counts following a violent rampage in which he threatened to kill his neighbors, assaulted them, and vandalized 16 vehicles in a public parking lot near the city's beachfront.

The investigation was launched at the Netanya police station under the Central District following multiple complaints regarding threats, harassment, and the assault of neighbors. The probe escalated after authorities received an urgent report about a man roaming through a parking lot and smashing car windows with a large stone.

Police officers who arrived at the scene immediately initiated a sweep of the area. Utilizing advanced technological means, law enforcement successfully identified the suspect. According to police, he was also positively linked to the earlier assaults and death threats directed at his neighbors, during which he explicitly told them, "I will murder you and slaughter you."

Based on the findings accumulated during the investigation, the suspect's detention was repeatedly extended by the court. Upon the conclusion of the police inquiry, the Central District Prosecution Unit filed a 16-count indictment against him.
